Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position involves interacting with guests, managing their dining experience, and ensuring that all front-of-house operations run smoothly.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take and process customer orders accurately using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine dining standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Provide assistance to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately.
- Experience in fine dining settings is a plus, enhancing the guest experience through knowledge of menu items.
- Sales skills to promote specials or upsell menu items effectively.
- Food handling knowledge to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
