Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment on Mondays and Sundays. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by providing support in taking orders and ensuring timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food presentation and quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address any guest needs or concerns.
- Assist in food preparation as required, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to inquiries or requests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary terminology is advantageous.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
