Description of Primary Duties for Open Position:
- Drive fork truck in all areas of the plant.
- Supply and remove product and pallets to repack lines.
- Supply product and remove product to dumpers.
- Stretch wrap pallets when necessary.
- Ensure safety check and sanitation of fork truck.
Required to complete a drug test with a negative result for THC.

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications/Experience Required:
- Must have good arithmetic skills.
- Must be able to read and distinguish product codes.
- Must be able to write clearly.
- Must be able to stand temperature variations.
- Must be reliable, punctual and have good attendance.
- Must have fork truck driving experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB POSITION
This job position requires the following minimum physical abilities to adequately perform the above activities:
- STANDING – The employee needs to be able to stand for 3 hours per shift, walk for 2 hours per shift and may be required to sit for up to 6 hours per shift.
- PACE – The pace of this job is set by the speed of the production line and the number of lines running on any particular day. It may best be described as a quick pace se by outside factors.
- LIFTING – A fair amount of lifting is required in this job position. The maximum lifting would be around 60 lbs. without a hoist or other helping mechanism. The average lift amount would be around 20 lbs. with a lifting frequency of about 2 lifts per hour. The lifting activities can be anywhere from the floor level to above the shoulder level.
- TWISTING/JARRING – In this job position, there is a significant almost constant amount of twisting activity as well as a constant jarring from driving this vehicle in the work site.
- PUSH/PULL activities are not significant in this job.
- HAND/WRIST involves constant fine hand/wrist movements, constant gripping, and constant repetitive wrist twisting and bending.
- ELBOWS – Involves forceful and repetitive bending and straightening of the elbows.
- Shoulders – Involves a moderate amount of above shoulder level work and forceful shoulder use.
- KNEES - Involves a moderate amount of squatting activity.
- CLIMBING – up to 1-2 feet above the floor level is frequently required.
- WALKING up to 5 miles per day is required.
- VISION – 20/40 or better required with or without correction.
- COLOR VISION – None required.
- HEARING – Must be able to hear better than 40 decibels threshold level in at least one ear.
FOOD SAFETY DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS
- Use proper food safety PPE.
- Ensure pallets brought into plant are in good condition and are free of contaminants.
- Clean tops of totes before opening.
- Inspect crusher for cleanliness and clean if necessary.
