Who we are
Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.
As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.
What you will be doing
As an FPV Flight Instructor, you’ll be a key member of the Mobile Training Team (MTT), working alongside a Field Instructor and reporting into the Training Lead. Your primary mission is to train and coach students—many of them new to FPV—on how to fly Neros drones safely and effectively under real-world conditions.
You’ll deliver both classroom and field-based instruction, demonstrate advanced FPV and line-of-sight maneuvers under pressure, and provide clear, objective evaluations of student performance. When not actively training, you'll support the Training Lead in refining and improving course content to keep pace with evolving tactics, feedback, and system updates.
This role requires travel expectations of 50%
Candidates must hold a valid FAA Part 107 certificate or be prepared to obtain one within two weeks of hire.
