Freelance Tour Guide – San Francisco
Are you a local resident passionate about San Francisco’s neighborhoods, culture, and hidden gems? We're looking for friendly, outgoing individuals to lead small group walking tours and share the best of the city with visitors from around the world.
About the Role
As a freelance local host with Guydeez, you'll provide personalized walking experiences across San Francisco. You don’t need to be a licensed guide—just someone who loves the city and enjoys meeting new people.
Responsibilities
- Lead small group or individual walking tours (3 to 8 hours)
- Share local stories, cultural insights, and historical background
- Adapt each experience to guest interests and needs
- Ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable tour
- Provide recommendations on local food, sights, and activities
Requirements
- At least 1 year of living experience in San Francisco
- Fluent in at least one of the following: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Chinese
- Friendly, professional, and reliable
- Previous experience in tourism or hospitality is a plus, but not required
- Interest in local food and culture is welcomed
