About the Role
As a freelance local host with Guydeez, you’ll guide small groups or individuals through customized walking experiences. No professional certification is needed—just strong knowledge of New York and a passion for sharing it with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead private walking tours of 3 to 8 hours
- Share interesting facts about local history, culture, food, and landmarks
- Adapt each tour to suit the group’s interests
- Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests
- Answer questions and provide helpful tips and recommendations
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of residency in New York
- Fluent in at least one language: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Chinese
- Confident speaking with groups and managing logistics
- Experience in hospitality, guiding, or customer service is a plus
- Passion for food, culture, or storytelling is welcome
