Hotel Winneshiek is looking for the right person to join their team. Hours will be either 7a - 3p or 3p - 11p. Weekends are a must though not every weekend. The right candidate will be self motivated, genuine, kind, eager to learn, have great personal energy and a sincere desire to serve our guests. The functions of the position we can teach...everything else you must have within you. Dealing with all aspects of customer service, handling cash daily, and end of day processing.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Previous experience in a front desk or hotel environment
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hospitality management practices
- Ability to communicate effectively, with bilingual or multilingual skills preferred
- Experience in guest relations and night audit processes is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining accurate records.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with hotel management to enhance guest experiences and maintain high hospitality standards.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and breakfast area.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
