As the Front of House Manager at Stevens Point Country Club, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional member experience. You will oversee the daily operations of the front of the house team, including dining, events, and member services, while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Leadership and Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and develop front of house staff.
- Lead team on each shift and set each shift up for success.
- Schedule and manage staff to ensure optimal coverage and service.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
2. Member Services:
- Greet and interact with members, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Ensure all member requests are met with professionalism and friendliness.
3. Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations at the front of the house, ensuring compliance with club policies and standards.
- Enforcing service standards.
- Coordinate and manage reservations, special events, and club functions.
4. Customer Experience:
- Monitor service quality, addressing any issues to maintain the highest standards with integrity.
- Implement initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and engagement.
- Interact with membership and guests.
5. Billing and Financial Accountability:
- Manage the front desk operations, including billing processes and cash handling.
- Prepare reports on member activity and service feedback.
-Prepare final numbers for event invoices for business office
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the golf pro, bar manager, head chef, maintenance, and events teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in weekly meetings to align club activities and member feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in front of house or hospitality management role, preferably in a country club or upscale setting.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
-Passionate about excellent hospitality
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in POS systems and Google Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education:
-High school diploma required, degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year Country Club experience
- Minimum 2 years of Customer experience
- Minimum 2 years of Management experience
