We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Front of House Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate is a people person who can communicate effectively, provide excellent service, and handle food-related inquiries with confidence.
This position requires someone who is well-spoken, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions regarding food service. You should be comfortable working with point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling phone orders, and managing third-party delivery services like DoorDash.
Starting wage is $17 per hour for qualified applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process orders accurately using the POS system (training provided if needed).
- Answer phone calls with excellent communication skills, assisting customers with orders and inquiries.
- Handle DoorDash orders and transactions efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and answer food-related questions.
- Assist with light lifting (up to 50 lbs) as needed for stocking and setup.
- Ensure the front-of-house area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Provide legible and accurate handwritten notes when required for customer orders.
Qualifications:
- Friendly, people-oriented personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to take clear instructions and execute food service tasks effectively.
- Experience with POS systems (or willingness to be trained on ours).
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle customer service interactions professionally.
- Familiarity with DoorDash order management is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with no DUIs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Neat and legible handwriting skills for order-taking and notes.
