Your Role as a Fulfillment Associate Includes:
- Order Picking: Locating and retrieving specific items and quantities from warehouse shelves based on order lists or digital instructions.
- Product Inspection: Inspecting items for quality, damage, or defects before packing.
- Packing: Securely packing items into appropriate containers, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Labeling and Documentation: Correctly labeling packages for shipment and completing any necessary paperwork.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Equipment Operation: Operating equipment such as handheld scanners and pallet jacks to move and prepare goods.
- Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and best practices to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Skills & Abilities You'll Bring:
- Endurance: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Prior Experience: 1+ years working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment or experience managing various products and/or SKU?s
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and verifying orders.
- Basic Technology Skills: Proficiency in using handheld scanners, computers, and other technology for order fulfillment.
- Teamwork and Communication: The ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other logistics teams.
- Organization: The capacity to keep workspaces orderly and maintain organized inventory.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to identify and address issues that arise during the picking and packing process.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 40+ lbs daily
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Must be able to wear ear plugs, safety glasses and steel toe shoes, if applicable.
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
