Job Summary
The Group Sales Manager is responsible for actively promoting the restaurant to local businesses, organizations, and individuals with the goal of securing group reservations and events of 15 guests or more. This role is both sales-focused and operational, with involvement from lead generation through event execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target, and engage potential clients in the local market for private dining and group events (15+ guests)
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, event planners, community organizations, and local influencers
- Respond to inbound group inquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings
- Conduct site visits and walk-throughs with prospective clients
- Collaborate with the management and culinary team to craft customized group menus and event details
- Own the guest experience from inquiry to execution, including:
- Confirming details and contracts
- Coordinating internal communication and expectations with FOH/BOH teams
- Being onsite for the event, ensuring table setups are accurate and brand-aligned
- Addressing client needs and maintaining high service standards throughout the event
- Track all leads, conversions, and follow-ups using CRM or other tracking tools
- Meet monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality sales, event planning, or restaurant group sales (preferred)
- Strong local network and knowledge of the market is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and events simultaneously
- Hands-on and willing to assist with physical event setup and breakdown as needed
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends during events
