Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing assistance with check-in procedures and luggage as needed.
- Answer guest inquiries and provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and dining options.
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to the guest's satisfaction and escalating as needed.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, accurately recording guest information and payment details.
- Coordinate with management, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby, reception desk, and guest service areas.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, taking reservations, and handling email correspondence.
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of transactions and guest accounts.
- Promote hotel services and special offers to guests, upselling amenities and packages to enhance their experience.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding guest interactions, privacy, security, and safety at all times.
- Assist the Housekeeping team as necessary during periods of high volume.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems, property management systems, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls.
- Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience in working in a computer-heavy environment
