Job purpose
To set objectives and strategies for the IT department. Selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize strategic benefits. Provide backup monitoring of all Information Technology systems and processes with the highest level of security established by HIPAA and NIST.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Senior Programmer to train all developers on the team to implement software and reporting development in accordance with ACTY standards, ensuring the design is intuitive for end users, facilitates end-user management, avoids hardcoding, and is built with forward scalability in mind.
- Support the design, implementation, and systems for monitoring Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) functions, operations and pipelines.
- Spearheads ACTY’s Security Risk Assessment program and works to close gaps found in latest security risk assessment.
- Develops and maintains policies and procedures, including performing an annual review.
- Designs SSRS reporting framework, scheduling and automation, code repository and documentation.
- Directs role-based security (minimum required access methods) implementation.
- Lead, mentor and collaborate with all direct reports and management level team to create and achieve department and company goals.
- Spearheads process improvement and procedural design to support of the workflow of setting up workstation devices.
- Supports and/or escalates issues related to ACTY’s local network as it relates to uptime and performance optimization.
- Leads and acts with urgency ACTY’s incident emergency management response.
- Directs and schedules software upgrades and system maintenance (ACTY portal excluded) and is responsible for the communication distribution to ACTY or impacted user community.
- Complies with all company policies.

- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Secure configuration (CIS benchmarks)
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

- Penetration testing
- Device encryption
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
- Compliance, industry regulations, and auditing

- 5+ years SQL Server
- Power BI Reporting preferred
