The Erie Yacht Club, established in 1895, is a highly respected yacht club located on the shores of Lake Erie and supports a membership of over 1,550. It is a premier destination for those who enjoy boating. Its members come from a diverse background, including sailors, racers, cruisers and enthusiasts. With a year-round anchorage on Presque Isle Bay, members can participate in on-water activities and build strong bonds with each other. The club is well-known for its rich traditions and hospitable atmosphere, making it a special place for yachting enthusiasts.
We are a yacht club looking for outgoing and competent staff to work in a fun and busy environment. Opportunities for part time available. Experience is not a must. We are looking for people willing to learn and have a drive to succeed.

· Busser/Food Runners are an essential part of the hospitality industry. They usually work as augmentation and assistance to the wait-staff and are required to deliver food to the tables. Since they are the last ones to look at the dish before presenting to a customer, it is of the utmost importance that they know what the dish is supposed to look like and check food for accuracy. They prepare soups and salads when required. They may be required to answer questions about the food and the facility’s service while serving the food.
· Busser/Food runners and servers do not only serve food. They are required to perform some secondary tasks such as cleaning tables and work areas, bussing tables, filling glasses, at times taking orders and even assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining their work areas. Food runners also transport trays of soiled dishes. Food runners need to be extremely efficient and detail oriented along with a courteous manner as they are always in direct contact with the customer.
Must be friendly and approachable to members and fellow employees
Must be able to adapt quickly and learn new menus in a timely manner
Set up and work events in a formal and banquet setting.
Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, wiping down tables, keeping a clean bar area, etc. as needed.
Provide guidance to members on club activities, dining options and general club and regional information.
May be indoor or outdoor setting.
Stock supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
Other duties as assigned.
