Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle reservations through phone systems and online platforms, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and presentable manner.
- Assist with special requests or arrangements as needed to accommodate guests' needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in front desk operations or customer service within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with guests through exceptional guest services and relations.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus; training will be provided as needed.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.
