We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Process reservations and maintain accurate records in the hotel management system.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate reporting of daily transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk roles is preferred but not mandatory. PLUS IF WORKED WITH MARRIOTT BEFORE.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
- Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on hospitality management.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.75 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
