We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Information Technology Director with deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and business systems integration, particularly in regulated industries such as aerospace and defense. The successful candidate will lead IT operations across a multi-site enterprise, with a strong focus on post-acquisition integration, cloud migration, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement IT strategies, infrastructure roadmaps, and modernization initiatives aligned with business goals.
Lead infrastructure and system integrations resulting from mergers and acquisitions, including domain consolidation, server migrations, and business system alignment.
Provide oversight of compute infrastructure, with an emphasis on cloud-based platforms (such as Azure), virtualization, and hybrid architectures.
Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC Level 2, DFARS, SOX, and ITAR requirements by enforcing policies, controls, and audit-readiness protocols.
Manage cybersecurity risks by implementing best practices in identity management, endpoint protection, network segmentation, and security awareness.
Evaluate current and future IT needs, assess business requirements, and develop scalable solutions to support company growth.
Prepare reports on IT operations, project progress, and budget utilization for executive leadership.
Support ERP implementations (Epicor) and various business applications, as well as third-party tools.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve user satisfaction, data governance, and service delivery.
Oversee all IT operations and lead a geographically distributed IT team to deliver consistent, secure, and scalable services.
Maintain vendor relationships, oversee IT procurement, and manage budgets and licensing agreements to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT management, including infrastructure leadership, cloud strategy, and ERP implementation
Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries
Proven experience leading merger and acquisition IT integrations
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, databases, cloud environments, security protocols, and telecommunications
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Fortinet, and endpoint management platforms
Solid understanding of cybersecurity standards and data classification (CUI/ITAR)
Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent project management and documentation discipline (PMP or ITIL certification preferred)
Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands with agility and transparency
Preferred Certifications:
PMP, ITIL Foundation, CISSP, or CISM
Microsoft Azure Administrator or Architect
CMMC Provisional Assessor (preferred, not required)

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
