Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales & Service Representative to join our growing team. This role involves both selling new insurance policies and servicing existing clients. The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, personable, and organized, with strong communication and computer skills.
While prior insurance experience is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to train the right individual. Bilingual applicants (Spanish and English) are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Solicit and sell auto, home, and other personal/commercial insurance products
- Provide excellent service and support to existing clients
- Handle client calls, emails, and policy changes efficiently
- Assist clients with billing questions, claims, and coverage explanations
- Maintain accurate records, notes, and follow-ups in our agency systems
- Support cross-selling and referral initiatives
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented agency culture
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college a plus)
- Prior insurance experience a plus, but not required
- Strong phone, computer, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and coachable, with the ability to work well with others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
