Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Interior Designer to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate is not only passionate about design but also technically skilled, with a strong design sensibility and the ability to bring concepts to life. This role requires both design expertise and practical experience managing projects from concept through to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients and vendors, attend site visits, and develop design solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to assess interior design needs and preferences
- Develop innovative and practical design concepts aligned with client goals and budgets
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Prepare and present mood boards, material selections, and finish schedules
- Select furniture, fixtures, color palettes, and accessories with a keen eye for style and function
- Conduct space planning, furniture placement, and optimize layouts for function and flow
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and communication with contractors and vendors
- Perform site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design execution
- Maintain updated knowledge of current trends, products, and materials in the interior design industry
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, both in person and through written proposals
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience in interior design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong design eye with an excellent sense of spatial composition and visual storytelling
- Solid understanding of floor plans, space planning, and furniture placement
- Experience conducting and reporting on site visits
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in English and Chinese (both spoken and written)
- Willing and able to travel to project sites as required
- Passionate and enthusiastic about interior design, with a desire to stay updated on industry innovations and trends
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
