Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Table Games Dealer Trainee (Temporary)” for the All-New J Resort. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in a comprehensive dealer training program, covering rules, procedures, customer service and game mechanics
- Attend and actively engage in all training sessions and practical exercises
- Demonstrate proficiency in shuffling, dealing, and handling chips according to casino standards
- Learn and apply customer service techniques to enhance overall gaming experience
- Must be able to learn the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner according to the company’s policies and procedures
- Ability to make proper pay outs while on the various games
- Maintain proper game protection on all games
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Basic math skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Nevada Employee Gaming Registration
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
