Candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, including research, drafting documents, and preparing for litigation. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to assist in the development of legal arguments.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for motion practice, trials and hearings by organizing case files and summarizing relevant information.
- Maintain case calendar.
Skills
- Proficient in legal drafting with attention to detail in written communication.
- Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent research skills, particularly in LexisNexis.
