Leasing Manager

If so, Related Companies is seeking a dynamic, charismatic, and passionate Leasing Manager to Manage with the day-to-day leasing operations and oversee a team of two Leasing Consultants.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee leasing and marketing strategy for the property
• Tour apartments with prospects and adhere to follow-up procedures
• Lease and pre-lease apartments
• Organize and carry out all retention activities
• Complete applications and lease/renewal documents
• Review vacancies, walk tour path and maintain model apartments
• Motivate and supervise the leasing staff
• Assist management with resident relations
• Maintain relationships with industry partners and brokers
• Prepare daily and weekly leasing reports and monthly market surveys
• Analyze market and occupancy trends to identify changing market conditions
• Track marketing avenues, oversee marketing campaigns and monitor traffic results
• Regularly update the property and marketing website

• 4 years or more of leasing expreience
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with computers including Microsoft Office, calendar management, software/database, and social media
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
• Must have strong closing skills
• Proficient in managing an internal applicant database
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Committed to obtaining real estate license
• Yardi or similar software experience preferred
• Illinois Leasing License

• $70,000 - $75,000 / annually
• plus commission
• plus performance based bonus
