The Logistics Coordinator supports the Shipping & Receiving department in the administrative activities of the Warehouse and Shipping functions. This position is responsible for supporting the completion of various processes, such as warehouse receipts and issues, order printing, label printing, Direct Shipment orders, shipped orders, responding to customer or internal requests for order status, and other general administrative tasks as required.

- Assist in the receipt of incoming ingredients and packaging shipments, verifying that data entry of receipts into the ERP system are completed in a timely manner
- Communicate any discrepancies and damaged shipments reported at time of receipt according to company procedures
- Processes order shipments in the ERP system in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist in entering inventory counts for packaging, ingredients, and finished products as required, following company procedures.
- Enters inventory transactions accurately and timely into the ERP system.
- Support printing shipping paperwork and appropriate shipping labels to prepare shipments to meet due dates.
- Verify that the direct shipments are picked up daily by third-party shipping vendor
- Process the direct shipment orders in the ERP system daily
- Monitor order processing and preparation to ensure shipping dates are met. Liaise with the Sales and Marketing departments keeping them up to date on order status.
- Assists in providing customer order status in response to customer or internal enquiries either by email or telephone. Answering general enquiries or taking messages and ensuring follow up answers are provided for general enquiries.
- Assists in administrative tasks such as maintenance scheduling of service engineers, ensuring work uniforms are available and general liaison with other vendors and internal departments.
- Assists in getting quotes and scheduling of transport as directed by the Department management team.
- Participate in special projects as required.
