JOB SUMMARY
This position coordinates all aspects of the residential portion in Fargo of each program/location to ensure residents are comfortable and informed, and to ensure the efficient operation of the residential program by supervising residential staff, monitoring of residential activities and ensuring compliance with policy, procedure and legal requirements.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Manager of Residential Services supervises the 24-hour Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) staff, front desk employees and ShareHouse Drivers. There are roughly 60 clients that this position supervises the care over.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Act as liaison between residential and clinical and/or administrative staff to ensure consistent and accurate communication
- Oversee apartment and facility cleanliness, and communicate maintenance issues to ensure safe and professional environment and ensure apartment readiness for client admission
- Ensure staffing and presence of front desk/reception, answer multi-line phone and route calls, and greet visitors and guest to provide welcoming and professional presence
- Manage 24-hour BHT staff; assist in recruiting/hiring, delegating of tasks, creating work schedules, and provide feedback both informally and through written performance appraisals to ensure appropriate staffing levels and to provide staff with positive and rewarding employment experience
- Facilitate non-clinical groups to provide clients with complete and appropriate treatment and programming
- Document information, observations, concerns, issues and events in appropriate venue to provide accurate information to staff and management
- Works closely with Safety Officer on any safety related concerns as well as conduct any follow up tasks
- Oversee/monitor breathalyzer and urine drug screens on clients as required and maintain appropriate documentation to ensure drug- and alcohol-free living environment
- Oversee BHT monitoring and tracking of clients’ exits and entries into facility to ensure knowledge of client location and activities at all times
- Monitor dispensing of medication to residents according to established protocol to ensure appropriateness
- Understand and abide by all confidentiality laws to protect clients and client information
- Represent Residential concerns/observations at Staffing meetings
- Provide and maintain reliable and prompt attendance, with the ability to work the schedule dictated by business necessity
- Track and record staff training such as at hire, monthly/annual training events, CPR and medication certifications
- Meet 1-1 with all staff on a regular basis for feedback on their performance and to discuss concerns or comments they have on their position
- Schedule and delegate to BHTs drug dog searching services
- Order facility supplies for each building, taking monthly order requests. Office supplies, BA supplies, linens, art supplies, NA/AA books, client feminine/hygiene products
- Supervise RA’s assigned weekly duties such as UA randomized schedules, House lists and client sign in/out sheets and passes
- Rounding of each Fargo residential building multiple times a week to check on staff, and the condition of client apartments
- Work with HR generalist to open, interview and hire for needed positions
- Plan for and host regular monthly BHT meetings to include training and policy refreshers
- Complete chart reviews as assigned to by compliance officer
- Recalibrate BA machines monthly
- Review facility cameras on occasions
- Schedule monthly emergency drills for each shift
PERIODIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform clerical task such as filing, faxing, copying and data entry
- May make change, run credit card payments and write receipts depending on program/location
- Transport clients to appointments/meetings, and/or children to daycare facility as needed depending on program/location
- Fill BHT shifts if needed/as required, to include weekends and/or overnight shifts
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required; and
- Two years’ experience in related field
- Prefer one-year supervisory experience
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
- Required to be CPR, Medication and First Aid Certified within 2 months of hire
- May be required to have valid driver’s license and have clean driving record according to company insurance standards depending on program/location
