Dockhand Position
The duties for the Dockhand position in our marina include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with the day to day marina operations by assisting customers, boat rentals, bait sales, launching boats, operating boats, cleaning boats, rental agreements, completing shift paperwork, customer service, emptying trash, basic cleaning and grounds maintenance aorund the marina, and miscellaneous small jobs as determined by the manager.
Some of the Position Requirements are:
* Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY. Able to work any day, including Saturdays and Sundays. Schedule to be determined but Sundays and/or evenings are possible
* Enjoys customer service
* Can work without constant supervision
* Can handle a fast-paced work environment
* Can lift up to 30lbs
* Be a team player
* Able to pay attention to detail when completing required daily documentation
Prior marina, boating knowledge, and boating experience is preferred.
The ability to operate a boat is required. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must have a Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card to operate a boat. Already possessing this ID card is preferred, however it can be obtained before beginning work.
