We are looking for a FT appointment coordinator. Compensation is hourly plus commission. The primary function of the Appointment Coordinator is to generate appointments for our service department, and many times handle some of those appointments face to face, monitor and close the repair order. That includes repair estimates, customer authorization on service orders, status-of-repair inquiries, payment terms, and complaints. Performs as the point of contact for service customers' needs via phone, or in person as needed.
- Generates appointments and maintains work orders and repair orders for the appointments handled in person. Assists customer in identifying needed services. Issues clear repair instructions to Service Technicians.
- Insures timely, competent and courteous relations with service customers.
- Promotes the sales of labor. Maintains follow-up with customer on suggested repairs.
- Assists Service Advisors, Warranty Administrator, and Service Manager in the performance of their duties.
- Maintains a working understanding of all warranty policies and procedures of vendors and our brand.
- Collect payment from customers.
- Maintains Service Department files and records for the repair orders he/she writes.
- Monitors daily his/her open repair orders and closes as quickly as possible.
The right candidate has the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Appointment sales experience preferred. Excellent communication skills. Professional personal appearance.
