Job Summary
The Mountain Sports Engagement Specialist is responsible for promoting and enhancing the guest experience across a variety of Massanutten’s Mountain Sports departments, including Ski Area, Bike Park & Western Slope, Golf, and the Family Adventure Park. This dynamic, year-round role works directly with our resort Marketing Division to manage our marketing and public relations efforts, oversee social media strategy for our departments, and serve as a key liaison between the resort and its active passholder community. Responsible for coordinating the Local’s Cup Race Leagues, organizing special events both on-site and at Massanutten-sponsored off-site locations, and fostering strong relationships with guests, partners, and locals. The specialist plays a critical role in building excitement and engagement across all Mountain Sports offerings through creative content, effective communication, and a passion for adventure. Success in this position requires adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit, along with a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences that reflect the energy and diversity of our mountain sports culture.
Required

Knowledge of resort operations

Core Responsibilities
§ Demonstrate a strong interest and aptitude in promoting ski and mountain bike programs, assisting in the development of marketing materials and social media content to increase program visibility and engagement
§ Represent the Mountain Sports team at offsite festivals and events, engaging with the community and showcasing our offerings to drive program participation
§ Provide marketing support, including creating promotional materials, assisting with email campaigns, and assisting with content development for website updates
§ Other duties as assigned by management
