We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to help manage daily office functions and support our administrative team in creating a smooth and welcoming environment in our new office and visit center!
Position Summary
The Office Administrator is responsible for managing the daily operations of our Columbus, NE office. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional demeanor. As the first point of contact for clients and guests, you will play a key role in representing our values and ensuring a positive office experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, families, and clients at the front desk in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Edit and review documents for submission to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
- Oversee and maintain smooth daily office operations.
- Review, edit, and organize internal documentation and communications.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases with strict confidentiality.
- Support scheduling and calendar management for staff and office events.
- Monitor office supply inventory and order materials as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of office spaces for staff and visitors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office support experience.
- Proficient with Google suite, Microsoft Suite and Monday.com
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in human services or Family Services environments is a plus.
Education Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree- preferred
