- Provide prompt technical support to end users, resolving issues and offering guidance.
- Set up and install PCs and monitors, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Perform PC swaps for users, including imaging, setup, data transfer, delivery, and installation.
- Support videoconferencing and audio/video equipment.
- Coordinate service and maintenance for office technology equipment such as copiers and plotters.
- Report technology-related issues and provide systems reports.
- Update/maintain verified PC for NQA-1 analyses.
- Travel on an as-needed basis.
- A certificate in an IT related field or working towards a degree
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills for hardware and software problems.
- In-depth knowledge of desktop and laptop computer hardware components.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and common office software applications.
- Proficient in troubleshooting general applications and CAD/Engineering applications.
- Familiarity with wired and wireless networking.
- Relevant certifications (A+, Network+, Security+) are advantageous.
- Prior experience in government work or similar industry is desirable.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of independent work.
- Collaborative team player.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
