Siepe is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Analyst with strong business acumen to drive operational excellence across our diverse product groups. In this role, you will perform daily fixed income transactions, identify and implement operational improvements, and support various business lines. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of transactions and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily servicing workflow across multiple asset classes.
- Handle Corporate Actions and amendment voting, including restructures.
- Manage operational activities surrounding exits and restructures.
- Own counterparty and vendor oversight.
- Respond to the needs of clients and other third parties on position and cash reconciliation processes., while collaborating with the respective internal teams.
- Develop strong partnerships with external counterparties.
- Manage and maintain performance targets and quality control metrics.
- Comply and enforce standard policies and procedures.
- Assist with training and preparing training documentation as needed.
- Work hours may extend beyond the standard schedule during peak periods, such as month-end and quarter-end, averaging 45-50 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel required.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Skills
- Strong understanding of corporate bonds, syndicated loans, CLOs, ABS, and private credit instruments and their life cycle management including servicing, settlements, and trade support.
- Expertise with Corporate Actions for loans and bonds: restructures, repricing, tenders, calls, mergers, stock splits, Dutch auction, bankruptcy exchanges, etc.
- Proven ability to manage a large volume of work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be a detail-oriented, self-motivated, self-starter, and challenge-seeker with exceptional research, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Bloomberg, DTC Alert, and DTC CTM is a plus.
- Loan administration/servicing experience is a plus.
- LendAmend, Solvas, and/or WSO experience is a plus.
