- Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour

Overview:
The Operations Specialist plays a vital and multifaceted role in supporting one or more programs or departments. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing building structures and ensuring the upkeep of facility grounds. The role requires the ability to work independently, apply advanced problem-solving skills, and coordinate effectively across multiple teams or departments. Additional responsibilities include assisting with client self-care and behavior training, leading rehabilitative groups in accordance with individualized client plans, and providing one-on-one behavioral support as needed. The Operations Specialist also facilitates the safe transportation of children and youth to scheduled treatment activities at Arrowhead Ranch using an agency vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive client relationships through regular interaction, promoting pro-social behavior and communication.
- Collaborate with staff and supervisors to enhance service quality and operational practices.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to support documentation integrity and chart maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, guardians, and support networks to ensure continuity of care.
Transportation Duties:
- Provide safe and timely transportation for clients to and from treatment services.
- Respond to transportation requests and adjust schedules as needed in coordination with program staff.
- Operate agency vehicles safely, adhering to all traffic laws and agency guidelines.
Facilities & Maintenance:
- Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and basic landscaping.
- Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural systems, including doors, windows, and concrete work.
- Conduct seasonal maintenance such as gutter cleaning, snow removal, and leaf control.
- Handle interior and exterior painting, window cleaning, and general janitorial duties after events or maintenance projects.
- Manage waste disposal and ensure cleanliness of agency property.
- Oversee minor appliance repairs and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct routine checks of agency vehicles (tires, oil, battery, fluids, seat belts, etc.).
- Schedule regular maintenance and warranty service appointments.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use.
Conditions of Employment:
- Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).
- Must pass a clear background check with CACI, DOJ & FBI.
- CPR and First Aid Certified.
- TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.
Driving Requirement:
- Employees are responsible for ensuring the timely renewal of their vehicle insurance policies and providing updated documentation to the agency to remain in good standing and compliant with position requirements.
Training:
- RCS provides an in-depth onboarding and training orientation, which includes CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, introductions to all RCS departments, and other valuable trainings.
