We are seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our team. As the billing coordinator you will play a crucial role in creating a good rapport with patients/billing parties/insurance companies. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Submitting daily billing claims, following up on claim denials, posting insurance payments.
• Verifying insurance eligibility and notifying responsibility party of benefit changes.
• Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Answering a large volume of phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate person or department
• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner

Skills

• Must be comfortable conducting financial conversations, maintaining professionalism
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Previous experience in medical/dental billing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) greatly preferred
