Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Outbound Sales Manager to lead a small outbound sales team while personally driving new client acquisition. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for someone who thrives on hitting sales targets, can consistently deliver results on outbound calls, and is passionate about coaching others to do the same.
The ideal candidate combines the energy and expertise of a seasoned sales closer with the leadership capabilities to motivate, train, and grow a high-performing sales team. You will be accountable for meeting your individual sales goals and the collective performance of your team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of outbound sales representatives
- Set daily and weekly performance targets for the team and ensure execution
- Provide real-time coaching, call shadowing, and constructive feedback to improve conversion rates and sales confidence
- Build a culture of accountability, learning, and performance
Individual Contribution
- Conduct outbound calls to qualified leads and cold prospects to promote our products and services
- Lead by example in call volume, call quality, pipeline management, and deal closing
- Customize outreach and proposals based on prospect needs and business goals
- Achieve or exceed individual monthly and quarterly sales quotas
Collaboration and Strategy
- Work with marketing and sales leadership to refine scripts, positioning, and outreach strategies
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, coaching opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Relay customer feedback and competitive insights to cross-functional teams
- Contribute to process improvements, CRM system optimization, and lead assignment strategies
Experience and Qualifications
- 3+ years of outbound sales experience with a consistent record of quota attainment
- 1+ years managing or mentoring a sales team or junior representatives
- Ability to close deals and coach others on doing the same using clear frameworks and sales methodologies
- Strong communication and persuasion skills over the phone and via email
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for activity tracking and pipeline management
- Self-starter with a competitive spirit and a passion for developing others
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
