Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including litigation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our attorneys and clients.
Duties
- Assist attorneys with legal research and case management, utilizing tools such as LexisNexis.
- Draft legal documents.
- Manage case files using document management systems like iManage.
- Perform document review.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating logistics.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting is required; familiarity with multiple areas of law is preferred.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Excellent research skills with proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Experience with project management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing case files and documentation.
- Proficient in using document management systems; experience with iManage a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
