We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper/Receptionist to join our team. This position combines accounting support with front desk responsibilities in a small, office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting:
- Enter and maintain financial transactions using Sage 100
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Support EDI transaction processing (invoicing, order entry, etc.)
Reception & Office Support:
- Order entry and confirmations.
- Answer and route incoming calls in a professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain office supplies and general organization
- Perform light data entry, filing, and administrative tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) is required
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, and accounting principles
- Solid understanding of balance sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Experience with EDI systems (e.g., SPS Commerce, etc.)
- Previous experience in a small business or manufacturing office setting
