Alden at Phoenix Art Museum is looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. We are seeking a creative individual who can produce high-quality desserts and baked goods while maintaining our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create new and innovative dessert menus and recipes.
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods.
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards and presentation requirements.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in baking techniques and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Creative and artistic skills for dessert presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred.
