Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:

  • Responsible for training new and existing front office staff, serving as the first point of contact for staff regarding workflow, policies and procedures, and working closely with the Clinic Supervisor or Manager on providing employee evaluation input.

  • Working in all areas within the front office, including patient check-in, collecting patient payments, preparing charts, updating medical records, and scheduling patient appointments in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Serves as the point person for any clinic projects when working with IT, Clinical Applications, and/or other TOC Divisions.

  • Updating records as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $24.27-$32.83 per hour.

Workdays: This role is located at Providence Professional Plaza. Occasional coverage at the Urology- Happy Valley Clinic will be required as needed. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, (8:00 am-4:30 pm).

Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of previous medical front office experience is strongly preferred. Specialty care Urology experience is a plus!
  • Prior experience in Surgery or other complex scheduling is preferred.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
  • Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
