Pediatric Therapy Reception & Front Office Assistant
We are a vibrant pediatric therapy practice seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Front Office Assistant to support our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring an efficient, welcoming, and professional front office environment for our families and clinical staff.
You’ll serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, supporting daily operations while working closely with therapists, schedulers, and administrative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet families and manage all aspects of the front desk experience
- Answer multiple phone lines and respond to client inquiries
- Assist Lead Scheduler in optimizing schedules for multiple providers
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
- Accurately capture and enter intake and demographic information
- Perform general administrative tasks (data entry, scanning, and faxing)
- Maintain a clean, child-friendly front office and waiting area
- Ordering office or therapy supplies as needed
Qualities Required
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience providing support in a high volume, multi-functional office, and knowledge of superior administrative practices. The candidate must be proactive, goal oriented, and personable. The ability to work independently, multi-task, and be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment is vital to this position. Personal attributes desired include being well-spoken, punctual, goal-oriented, and reliable.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to maintain the highest standards of discretion and judgment in dealing with confidential information.
- Being energetic and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and email skills a must.
Qualifications
· Two Years (+) of Medical Front Office Experience
