Summary:

Responsible to lead the efforts to develop and administer cross-functional business process controls that result in accurate capital project, operations and maintenance (O&M), supply-chain asset and work management data for the Great River Energy (GRE) Power Supply division. This position will lead the coordination, training, and support related to asset management, process documentation, compliance audit and reporting activities, and lead outage cost planning for the generation fleet.


Total Rewards:

A typical starting range for this position is $113,000 - $155,000+ annually. We offer market competitive base pay and adjust our offer accordingly based upon the value of the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience. Responsibilities: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Develop, standardize and maintain the generation maintenance work documentation processes across the generation fleet

· Proactively collaborate with leadership, impacted stakeholders, cross-functional departments, and industry forums to align business processes and data-driven tools across plant locations

· Actively gather input from impacted stakeholders to identify gaps, needs and drive buy-in to business processes

· Create effective training and techniques to educate and assist impacted stakeholders in executing business processes

· Standardize plans, locations, and assets to ensure consistency throughout GRE generation fleet

· Assist in the development of metrics that lead to increased generation fleet maintenance effectiveness

· Create and implement the digitization of reports to facilitate streamlined data collection and verification

· Integration of capital and O&M work orders that are tied to critical assets and locations

· Oversee the entry of new or revised information due to capital or O&M work order activities

· Merge and maintain engineering processes into existing automations

· Direct, support and manage the business function’s work order, asset and supply chain process data entry into GRE’s enterprise software application (Maximo) for power supply division

· Lead the development and promote the use of quality assuranc e and quality controls, analysis tools, and reporting solutions

· Partner with information technology division stakeholders to establish road maps for advancing data analytic capabilities in support of stakeholder needs for the enterprise system and software tools including providing system administration, configuration guidance and system upgrade support

· Provide governance and oversight of power supply asset management system, Maximo, in relation to enhancements, upgrades, and overall direction of system processes

· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals

  • Direct efforts from reactive and schedule-based maintenance to condition based and predictive maintenance
  • Deploy artificial intelligence (AI) across asset management platforms to benefit plant operations

· Evaluate business problems and operational procedures to identify and recommend potential enhancements to meet business requirements

· Develop and maintain asset data requirements related to the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) audits

Qualifications: Knowledge typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, computer or data science, information systems or engineering along with 7-10 years of relational database experience; or associate’s degree with 10+ years equivalent experience preferred. Experience in the electric utility industry is preferred.
