Print & Mail Services Student Associate
- Ability to commit to working through at least the end of Fall 2025 semester.
- Valid Driver License.
- Must be able to lift, bend, crawl, climb, etc. as needed to stock inventory and reach equipment.
Print & Mail Services Associates interact with customers in person and over the phone. Duties will include welcoming customers, selling postage, answering general questions about mail and passports while providing excellent customer service and assisting all areas of Print & Mail Services.
Departmental responsibilities include:
- Assisting with processing mail and packages by operating mailing machines and shipping software.
- Assist with print jobs, including folding, inserting, and operating printing equipment.
- Scanning incoming packaging and assisting with daily delivery routes.
- Other duties as assigned
Guest service responsibilities include:
- Answer general questions about USPS, UPS and Passports.
- Assist at University functions and events (i.e. Preview Days, Move-In, Tabling, etc.).
- Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, preparing mailings, making on-campus deliveries walking or in State Vehicle, posting flyers, or assisting technical staff.
- Serve as a positive host by welcoming guests to Mail Services office.
- Provide accurate information as requested by customers at the desk or over the phone.
- Research and have knowledge of a variety of sources of University and community information.
Cashiering responsibilities include:
- Selling postage, priority mail, express mail, and accountable mail; weigh letters and parcels and compute mailing costs based on type, weight, and destination.
- Operate a cash register, providing change and handling cash, credit, and check transactions.
- Report notable activities, problems, questions, etc. to the appropriate individuals.
- Perform end-of-day audits when needed.
Must be available to work at minimum, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Class schedule required.
A criminal background and post offer health assessment will be conducted.
$14.00 hourly

- Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data entry, typing skills, Microsoft Office products with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to work independently, identifying resources and make independent decisions.
- Flexible hours for availability.
