Production Manager
Target Product Experience: Organosilicon, Polyether, Fatty Alcohol (including candidates from the trading industry)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership in all areas of production, quality, technology, equipment, and safety, consistently improving management standards and production efficiency to meet assigned targets and goals with full quality compliance.
- Lead staff development through education and training programs, enhancing professional knowledge and job skills, promoting company policies, and fostering a safe, positive work culture.
- Oversee production safety and 5S management, conducting regular behavior-based safety inspections and continuous 5S improvement activities.
- Lead and develop the company’s management systems including ISO9001, ISO22716, and other standardization processes.
- Hold regular safety, quality, and technical analysis meetings; collect and analyze quality data; implement corrective and preventive measures; coordinate design and process changes with other departments.
- Maintain and continuously improve the production site, reduce staff turnover, improve logistics and semi-finished product handling, optimize personnel and equipment allocation, ensure high-level quality control, correct non-standard operations, and promptly handle abnormalities to maintain stability and efficiency.
- Lead the equipment department to ensure regular maintenance, efficient workload allocation, and maximum utilization of production equipment.
- Oversee production data tracking and analysis, providing accurate statistics to support production decision-making.
- Establish and enforce rules, regulations, and performance assessment systems to standardize and institutionalize production operations.
- Ensure production schedules are met, coordinate workshop activities, balance workloads, maintain progress, and achieve 100% on-time delivery to customers.
- Participate in technical standards validation, production process optimization, and new product development trials to improve market competitiveness.
- Implement cost control measures, optimize raw material usage, reduce production costs, and enhance both capacity and quality.
- Chair and participate in various production meetings, monitor implementation of assigned tasks, identify and resolve problems, and report issues and solutions to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant chemical industry experience and 5 years in a Production Manager role.
- Strong leadership experience with proven results in manufacturing management.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, production control, and on-site management across all manufacturing stages.
- Expertise in production cost control, process optimization, quality management, and familiarity with ISO9001 and related quality assurance systems.
