Job Summary
The QMHP / Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for promoting Credible Health Solutions in the community, building partnerships with referral sources, and increasing awareness of our mental health services. This role combines outreach and client service responsibilities—networking with doctors’ offices, schools, daycares, clinics, and community centers while also providing short-term services to new clients until they are assigned to a permanent QMHP. The Outreach Coordinator will organize and attend marketing events, distribute referral materials, and ensure all outreach and service delivery meets performance quotas and Medicaid compliance standards.
Duties
- Conduct regular outreach in the community to promote CHS services and increase referrals.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with doctors’ offices, schools, daycares, clinics, and other referral sources.
- Attend and represent CHS at community events, health fairs, and marketing functions.
- Organize and coordinate onsite events to promote agency programs.
- Prepare, distribute, and explain referral packets to potential partners.
- Complete intake and provide short-term services for new clients until a permanent QMHP is assigned.
- Document all outreach and client contacts accurately in the agency’s EHR system within required timeframes.
- Track and meet assigned monthly outreach and referral quotas.
- Submit weekly outreach and activity reports to the supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with TMHP, HHSC, Medicaid, and MCO guidelines.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in the following areas:
- Volunteer management and supervising experience is highly desirable.
- Public speaking skills are essential for effective communication with community members, referral sources, and partners.
- Background in program development, project management, marketing, and data collection is preferred.
- Familiarity with public health principles, social work practices, Medicaid mental health services, and addiction counseling will be beneficial.
- Strong leadership qualities are necessary for guiding outreach efforts, meeting quotas, and fostering collaboration within the organization.
- Administrative experience is an asset for managing outreach operations, completing accurate documentation, and reporting activities efficiently.
- Prior work in community engagement, networking, or referral building in a behavioral health or social services setting is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of TMHP, HHSC, and MCO compliance standards is a plus.
- Experience delivering short-term case management or skills training services to new clients until long-term staff assignment is completed is preferred.
