Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Student Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience in a professional arts environment while developing essential skills in clerical tasks, customer service, and office management. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to our daily operations, live within a 30-minute commute to LBI, and be able to work until September 1, 2025.
Duties
- Assist with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Provide customer support by answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.
- Utilize computer software for administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all documentation.
- Support office management functions by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Help manage schedules and appointments as needed.
- Gain familiarity with a variety of software.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects to enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program or recent graduate.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent clerical skills including attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in customer service or office management is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new software and processes related to administrative functions.
