Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments. This role requires a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the talent needed to maintain quality personnel in industrial construction, welding/plant maintenance, Oil & Gas.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations and Management to assess and determine hiring needs.
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Utilize various sourcing methods including social media, job boards, and networking events to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct phone screening and in person interviews and assess candidates' qualifications through behavioral and situational questioning.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Collaborate with operations managers to understand their staffing needs and provide timely updates on recruitment progress.
- Support the onboarding process and clearly communicate key employment information such as compensation and benefits.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of recruiting experience across multiple industries.
- Knowledge of industrial construction, plant maintenance &/or welding and Oil & Gas job roles is strongly preferred.
- Background in construction, heavy industrial, or energy-related fields is a plus.
- Proven success in full-cycle recruitment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking or presenting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with various personality types.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
