Sales Support Specialist/Sales Coordinator

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Support Representative. This role provides essential support to our outside sales team while also assisting with inside sales operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn the sales process with the goal of growing into an outside sales role. Key Responsibilities:

• Support outside sales representatives with day-to-day tasks and client needs
• Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, product information, and answer common questions
• Assist with checking inventory levels and product availability
• Place and track customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service for inside sales by handling walk-in and phone inquiries
• Call on specialty jobsites to expand our customer base and showcase Farrell products and services
• Maintain organized records of vendor quotes, sales activity, and orders
• Develop a strong understanding of construction equipment and supplies to provide expert recommendations
• Maintain product displays, ensure stock availability, and keep the sales floor organized
• Learn and understand company products, services, and sales processes with the intention of developing into an outside sales role

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or a related field preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable making phone calls and working directly with vendors and customers
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when assisting with loading deliveries
