Job Summary
Use a power saw, roll groover, and drill press to cut and shape metal precisely as outlined in engineering drawings and P&ID diagrams. Ensure the highest quality standards while following all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Duties:
- Set up and adjust machines for each job. Set stops or guides, and install blades, bits, and attachments.
- Safely operates equipment to cut and shape metal parts according to customer specifications following work orders, blueprints, or P&IDs.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Remove debris from collection systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Uphold established production rates.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records.
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities, as needed, to support team and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Technical training certification or 1 year of similar experience.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, assembly, and mechanical drawings.
- Must have strong mechanical skills and experience with basic hand tools and light power tools.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and may occasionally lift over 50 lbs, where employee assistance is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to do basic computer tasks.
