Position OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health Senior Account Executive to support and execute strategic healthcare communications initiatives for a leading pharmaceutical client. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with 3+ years of experience in health communications who is eager to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a day-to-day client contact, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
- Support the development and implementation of integrated communications plans aligned with client objectives.
- Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high-quality work is completed on time.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including creative, digital, and media teams, to execute client programs.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive and media landscape analysis.
- Develop media lists, press releases, messaging documents, social content, and stakeholder engagement materials.
- Help foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and bring creative, strategic thinking to problem-solving.
- Support and coach junior team members, helping to build their skills and contributions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in health communications (agency or in-house preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting media and stakeholder materials.
- Understanding of the healthcare landscape, including industry trends and key stakeholders. Experience or an interest in public health and respiratory or immunology disease state areas a plus.
- Comfort working with medical language, clinical trial data, and regulatory/legal review processes.
- Ability to collaborate and problem-solve in a fast-paced, integrated agency environment, as well as mentor junior staff.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate fluency in leveraging AI tools to enhance communication strategies, optimize content creation, and drive more personalized, data-informed engagement across channels.
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
