A Brief Overview
The position is responsible for providing operational support and ensuring the smooth execution of legal and compliance (L&C) activities. Your primary focus will be taking project management ownership in matters involving cross-functional teams, and requires the ongoing exercise of independent discretion, legal, compliance and business judgment, strategic thinking, and ingenuity with respect to complex and nuanced issues. You will also be responsible for managing legal documentation, optimizing workflow processes, and supporting with division-owned functions, including L&C budgeting, vendor management, law firm management, and project management. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and passion for operational efficiency will be instrumental in enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our L&C department. You will also assist in the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of technology solutions throughout the L&C department.
What you will do
- Plan, execute, and finalize legal and compliance projects and initiatives according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Creates and/or supports department tools to further operational efficiency while focusing on assisting in the technology improvement process and ensures associated costs are efficient and effective
- Collaborate to develop and maintain the Company's legal operations processes, including developing and/or maintaining reports and dashboards to monitor contracts, leases, litigation, IP, operating authority, compliance and regulatory, and the legal and compliance budget
- Maintains insights and knowledge of trends in legal technology and operations
- Lead or support initiatives owned by the department that have an impact across the department, the broader company, or both
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office365 Suite, Salesforce.com, Tableau, Monday.com or equivalent, and Jira
- Experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects through to completion while performing effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated strength in data-driven decision-making, with the ability to gather and analyze data to evaluate the performance of the legal department
Licenses and Certifications
- Legal Assistant preferred
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI or equivalent preferred

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $68,400.00 to $116,200.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
