Social Media Marketing and Merchandise Processor

Job Summary
This is a dual role job at a local discount store. We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandise Processor who will play a crucial role in managing our merchandise inventory, ensuring that products are accurately processed and presented for sale. Also someone who will make daily posts on the store Instagram and TickTock. This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, as you will be involved in various aspects of merchandise management, including content creation and social media marketing.

Duties

• Process incoming merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory management and organization.
• Create engaging content for product listings, utilizing strong graphic design skills.
• Implement SEO strategies to enhance product visibility online.
• Utilize social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer to schedule posts and engage with customers.
• Conduct social listening to monitor brand presence and customer feedback across platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on public relations initiatives and branding efforts.
• Analyze web analytics using Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of merchandise promotions.
• Perform keyword research to optimize product descriptions for search engines.
• Manage e-commerce platforms, ensuring that all listings are up-to-date and visually appealing.
• Edit photos and videos for product presentations using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proofread all content to maintain high-quality standards before publication.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Experience with social media marketing strategies and tools.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO and content creation.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and web analytics tools (Google Analytics).
• Excellent relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
