Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who also possesses strong social media skills. This role will provide administrative support to our leadership team while also assisting in monitoring our online presence across platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, creative, and passionate about helping organizations grow and engage their communities.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) and ensure records are up to date.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications on behalf of the team.
- Assist with event coordination, meeting logistics, and office operations.
Social Media Management
- Collaborate with the social media team to schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Collaborate with the social media team to, respond to comments/messages, and engage with the online community.
- Collaborate with the team to support marketing efforts
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in social media marketing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
- Experience with social media platforms, scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later), and basic content creation (Canva, Adobe, or similar).
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with an understanding of branding and audience engagement.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, ConvertKit).
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills. (canva)
- Basic, familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
